Concept: AUGUSTA (Brit Marling), her younger sister LOUISE (Hailee Steinfeld), and their slave MAD (Muna Otaru) -- have thus far found a way to survive the difficult times. But when Louise falls ill, Augusta rides into town to find medicine and draws the attention of two Union soldiers -- MOSES (Sam Worthington) and HENRY (Kyle Soller) - The soldiers follow Augusta, but what they encounter once they reach the girls' homestead is significantly more than they bargained for.
